Manhunt 2 + Wii = Fundamentally Wrong?

Earlier this month it was reported by IGN.com that Rockstar will be releasing Manhunt 2 on the Nintendo Wii sometime this summer.The original Manhunt was one of the goriest, most violent games ever created. I never will forget the first time the game required me to shank a guy with a shard of glass and smother another with a plastic bag. Needless to say its crazy violent.
Does the Manhunt franchise belong on the Nintendo Wii, a gaming system so wholesome and light hearted any grandmother could love? Is Nintendo making a mistake? Will this tarnish their pristine image?
Do not get me wrong, I loved the first Manhunt game, but does the franchise belong on the Wii?
On second thought maybe it would be pretty cool to shank a guy with the Wiimote. Hm...
